WHO WE ARE

Words in Time volunteers provide extensive support to community leaders before, during, and following disasters through rapid translation and interpretation of vital information.

Our purpose is to help save lives through reaching community members in their native languages. Our volunteers are fluent in English and other language(s) so they are able to provide clear and correct translations of messages and real-time interpretation of information.

Our volunteers translate emergency communiques for text, email, and social media within hours or a given timeframe. Our volunteers provide real-time interpretation during media interviews. With volunteers from all over the nation and world, we specialize in nearly every language within the United States.

Words in Time volunteers also integrate with various other nonprofit organization in order to provide translation and interpretation services during their deployment and disaster response efforts both nationally and internationally.
